About the event

In this workshop, we will be covering what nature connection is, our need of a strong connection to nature, and the benefits from having one. We will provide a mix of theory and gentle practical activities within the session.Ā

We'll finish off by discussing how we might empower our community to take action forĀ natureĀ themselves, helping themselves as well as others.Ā

Wilder Neighbourhoods is funded by the Know Your Neighbourhood fund.Ā Our primary focus with this project is Stoke-on-Trent, but all are welcome.Ā

Alexis is our Wild Wellbeing Lead; she has worked with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust for ten years. She's a mum of two children, a guinea pig, and a cheeky dog. She is also a Mental Health First Aider and has a certificate in ecotherapy. Alexis is passionate about wildlife and is a champion for environmental issues - and loves talking about it with others. (Honestly, we can't keep her quiet! šŸ˜…)
