Go outside and get wild!

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust strives to protect and enhance the wild places and wildlife of Staffordshire so you can get close to nature. Our work, along with support from our members, means thatĀ it is easy to goĀ outside and get wild on your doorstep! There is plenty to explore, from our diverse range of 30Ā NatureĀ Reserves to our two bustlingĀ Visitor Centres. Go bug hunting, putĀ your feet up and unwindĀ atĀ our lakeside cafe, or hikeĀ along our Roaches Nature Reserve - the possibilities are endlessĀ for you to explore wild Staffordshire. There is something for everyone!

COVID 19 updateĀ

Nature and green spaces can help us all get through the difficult times ahead.Ā

However the Government's scientists have been clear on the need to avoid social contact with others and not to make unnecessary travel. Therefore we urge anyone considering visiting outdoor spaces not to make any journeys unless it's absolutely essential.Ā

It's important that we all observe our social responsibilities to help tackle this outbreak. We have closed all reserveĀ car parks with barriers and are askingĀ that if you can and do venture outdoors, think about visiting alternative green spaces closer to home, and follow Government advice on social distancing at all times.
