About the event
Learn from our Staffordshire Bat Group, how to identify the bats and record what you hear, as we walk.
Meet Northern Hem Heath carpark onĀ Trentham Rd, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 8FR
At 8.45pm - Approximate duration will be an hour and a half.Ā The time allocated is a guide, as we may be a little longer, or a little less, depending on the bats and how active they are on the night.Ā
Although the walk won't be long, no more than mile, it can be cold during bat walks with uneven ground, please wear warm clothing and suitable shoes. A torch will also be useful but should not be shone towards the bats.Ā
All bat detecting equipment will be provided.
