About the event

The City Nature Challenge is an annual competition between cities all over the world to see how many wild species their citizens can spot over the space of four days. 2024 is the second year we are taking part in Staffordshire; help us make it count!

Ecological databases are dependant on people like you to carry out surveys, however small, of the wildlife in your environment. By using the iNaturalist app on a phone, your records are automatically sent to the many databases around the word, including our own Staffordshire Ecological Record, so that our wildlife can be better understood and protected.

This year the CNC will take place between Friday 26^th April – Monday 29^th April.
