In the near future we would love to branch out to all of the Wildlife Trusts as LIVE For Wildlife grows in community and fundraising efforts.
We need to show the world (and the other Wildlife Trusts) that we can come together through live streaming to raise important funds and increase awareness of our goals and projects. Staffordshire Wildlife Trust are exploring the future of fundraising, and we'd love for the LIVE For Wildlife community to be a huge part of our efforts in protecting habitats, securing the future of hundreds of species, and assure that our green spaces in the UK stay green.
Once we show that we can raise funds and awareness through live streaming, we can work together with the other Wildlife Trusts to expand LIVE For Wildlife to other parts of the country.
We are part of The Wildlife Trusts
The largest UK voluntary organisation dedicated to conserving the full range of the UK's habitats and species whether they be in the countryside, in cities or at sea.
There are 46 local Wildlife Trusts across the UK, the Isle of Man and Alderney. Together, as a network, we have protected more than 95,000 hectares of land for wildlife - woods, meadows, lakes, hills, beaches and urban nature reserves and have 130 visitor and education centres across the U.K.
Staffordshire Wildlife Trust manages 30 nature reserves across the county for the benefit of wildlife and people, totaling almost 3,799 acres. Our reserves include lush wetlands, wild open moorlands and peaceful woodlands. We are working to create links and corridors in the wider landscape between these areas of high quality habitat, so wild populations do not become isolated and can expand and thrive.
