About the event
Do you think you have what it takes to survive on a desert island? Come and put your skills to the test and join us for some fun survival activities, learning lots of survival skills along the way. Can you make shelter that's waterproof, light a fire with a flint and steel, make a hunting stick or will your raft sink or float? Join us in the outdoor classroom this October Half Term to begin your adventure!

Activities aimed and ages 6 plus but younger children welcome - younger children wishing to take part will need a place booked and paid for
These two hour long activities give you and your children the chance to explore the great outdoors, with our Wildchild Team at hand to help you along the way.
All our activities take place outdoors therefore please dress for the weather.
Meet us in the outdoor classroom at The Wolseley Centre. Follow the new accessible path up the hill, passed our Learning Hub and you will find us in the top left corner next to the Tipi. If in doubt ask in reception and they will point you in the right direction.

This event it is essential that you book in advance and we regret to say that if you arrive to the event and have not booked your place you will be unable to join the event.
This is an integrated Aiming High session. Therefore through Aiming High, children with SEND can secure places on this and many other events in the local area for free. Please visit Staffordshire Connects for more details.
We ask that you do not attend this event if you, or anyone in your household, are showing symptoms of any contagious illness.

Booking essential.Activities aimed at children age 6+
If you wish to bring a child under the age of 6, they still must be registered to attend.
If you do not receive a confirmation email following your booking, please get in touch with us on getwild@staffs-wildlife.org.uk to ensure your place has been booked.
