Hoftens Cross Meadow Local Nature Reserve is a small, 1.4 hectare, area of meadow and scrub with open public access. The agriculturally unimproved meadow is managed for wildlife and designated a Site of Biological Importance.

Parking information

Situated off the A52 Stoke-on-Trent to Ashbourne Road. The turning is opposite the Cross Inn at Cauldon Low with a first right to enter the small car park with space for 2 - 3 cars.

Walking trails

A single unsurfaced path with a boardwalk and set of steps that can be used by walkers but is unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
