About the event

Come along to Cecilly Brook Local Nature Reserve and we'll show you how to use your phone to identify plants, bugs, birds and anything else we find.

Together with the Friends of Cecilly Brook we're running a BioBlitz (nature spotting) event. No experience is needed, we'll help you get started.

FREE and no booking needed, just drop in for as little or long as you like.

Let's bug hunt, bird watch and examine plants and trees to find and record as much wildlife as we can!

This event is suitable for all ages but children must be supervised by parent/guardian. Please wear suitable clothing for the weather and sturdy footwear.

This event is part of the Nature in Your Neighbourhood project - a five year project made possible with thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK. The project is led by SWT in partnership with Keele University, Moorlands Climate Action, OUTSIDE, Staffordshire Moorlands District Council and Staffordshire Council of Voluntary Youth Services (SCVYS).
