About the event

Learn about our native reptiles and how to survey for them. We will also show you how to set up your own reptile transect. This is a free event as part of the Nature in Your Neighbourhood project.

Recording your sightings is a very important part of surveying so we will also be learning how to use iNaturalist and how this can be useful in a wider context.

We will also be talking about which reptiles are native to the UK and how best to spot them and record your sighting.

This weekend is the 'City Nature Challenge' we will be recording everything we see into the iNaturalist app and this weekend all sightings go into a leaderboard.

Help Staffordshire get to the top! https://staffs-ecology.org.uk/city-nature-challenge/
