“In 2024 the Wells management team set a target of increasing our charity contributions and support of local organisations which provide a positive impact. As part of this process we asked for all of our employees to put forward suggestions and recommendations of projects we could support, and one that came back was Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. Many of us are already aware of the work that the trust carries out and have visited some of their reserve sites, but now, due to climate change and habitat loss, the protection and restoration of Staffordshire’s wildlife is more important than ever. The decision for us to proceed with supporting them was therefore an easy one, and we hope that this not only helps the trust continue its work, but also encourages more of our employees to see the importance of local wildlife.”
