When face-to-face advice may be best
For many people, an online will is a straightforward and practical solution. However, there are situations where speaking with a solicitor in person may be more appropriate.
You may wish to seek face-to-face legal advice if you already have a solicitor, have a large estate that could be affected by inheritance tax, own assets overseas, have trust arrangements in place, or have other complex circumstances.
We also recommend speaking with a solicitor directly where there are concerns relating to mental capacity, dementia, or medication that could affect decision-making.
You can find a solicitor in your area through the Law Society website: https://solicitors.lawsociety.org.uk/
If you choose to include a gift to Staffordshire Wildlife Trust in your will, please ensure your solicitor uses the following details:
Charity Name: Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Limited
Charity Number: 259558
Registered Address: The Wolseley Centre, Wolseley Bridge, Stafford ST17 0WT
Privacy and your choice
When you use our online will-writing service, Staffordshire Wildlife Trust will receive information about your will-writing journey. This will include details such as when a will is completed, the type of gift included, the value of any pledged gift and personal details such as your name, year of birth, email address and postal address.
Where you have given permission, this information allows us to thank you for your support and keep you updated on our work.
We understand that some supporters prefer to make their will privately. If you would rather keep it confidential, you can use this alternative link to make a will online: https://www.makeawillonline.co.uk/
However you choose to support Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, thank you for helping to create a wilder future for wildlife and people across Staffordshire.
