About the event
Want to get the children outdoors this half term? Why not come along and try a new adventure with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust! In this two-hour long session, you and your children will have the chance to discover the beauty of the outdoors, guided by our enthusiastic Team. Get ready for fun activities like wildlife identification, sensory explorations, and crafty projects to take home! Embracing the Forest School ethos, the experience encourages child-led exploration and play.
We play whatever the weather so please make sure your little ones and yourself are dressed suitably.

Please be aware there are no facilities at Gentleshaw Common
Who can attend: Open to all - All under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Access: There are a network of paths crossing the heathland. It can be muddy and uneven in places
What to bring:
Suitable clothing for the outdoors and weather, and sturdy footwear. Rough terrain and muddy in places. In case you need it, feel free to bring lunch or a snack if staying the whole session.
