About the reserve

You will find a mixture of landscaped views and natural features. There's a large lake and boathouse which date from 1903 and form a central feature. The site's hydroelectric scheme dates from 1904. A network of themed paths allows exploration of the meadows, parkland and woodland. The site is good for bird watching as you'll find a range of woodland birds here. The magnificent trees provide spectacular autumn colour. The site has a cafĆ© Ā - The Hideaway - which is managed by Biddulph Town Council. You can find information about the cafe, including opening times on the Hideaway's Facebook pageĀ here.

Please note Biddulph Grange Garden is a separate property from Biddulph Grange Country Park and is owned by the National Trust. For more information on Biddulph Grange Garden opening times please visit their website.
