New fun-filled wild activities for little ones in Leek

New fun-filled wild activities for little ones in Leek

This spring Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is launching Wildlings sessions at Ladderedge Country Park.

Wildlings is a play group where children aged 6 months to 5 years can try new things outdoors. The sessions are child led. This means they are encouraged to be curious and choose how to spend their time outdoors. They might opt to relax in a hammock, make a mud pie or become mesmerised while toasting a marshmallow over the campfire!

Wildlings will take place on Tuesdays from 10.30am until 12pm on:

  • Tuesday 31 March
  • Tuesday 14 April
  • Tuesday 19 May
  • Tuesday 16 June
  • Tuesday 14 July

There is also an extra session during the Easter School Holidays on Tuesday 31 March, from 1pm until 3pm.

Ladderedge Country Park is on the outskirts of Leek at Ladderedge, Leek, ST13 7AB and What3Words: ///grumbling.rosette.package There is a car park between Westwood Golf Club and the Highways Depot on Newcastle Road.

The sessions are provided for free, thanks to funding from the Staffordshire Freemasons.
