Parking information

Parking is available at the leisure centre or in the pay and display car park on Vicarage Road

Grazing animals

The meadows are maintained by cattle grazing from July to October.

Walking trails

The site has unsurfaced pathways and is hillyĀ in parts.

Access

Access to the reserve is through Brough Park itself. Parking is in the main park car park located off Fowlchurch Road. Walk north through the park and over a small bridge over the stream towards the woodland and you'll enter Brough Park Fields Nature Reserve.

Dogs

Under effective control

Dogs must be under effective control. Put all dog waste in the bins where provided or take it home. Keep your dog under control - do not let it chase or worry wildlife.

About the reserve

The site consists of meadows and young woodland. These trees are not dense enough to support any major wildlife, however, the park does act as a gateway to Abbey Woods and Tittesworth Reservoir.

Visit the reserve for:

  • Meadow walks
  • Woodland walks
  • Spectacular views north towards the Roaches and Hen Cloud
