About the event

At these sessions children will be introduced to the benefits of both yoga and mindfulness outdoors. They will learn how to safely do yoga poses in a calming environment, discover how to relax, and explore the wonders of nature through play.

This session is aimed at 2-5 year olds; younger siblings can attend with parents. Parents/Carers stay for the session, however we are not insured for adults to take part.

We do yoga, play and explore whatever the weather so please make sure your children and yourself are dressed suitably.

This session is part of our 'Big Wild Walk' campaign https://www.wildlifetrusts.org/events/big-wild-walk-2021 and will include a mindful walk around the Brown End Quarry reserve. The UK is hosting COP26 (The UN Climate Conference of the parties) from 1st-12th November. The role of nature is one of the key topics to be discussed. You can play your vital part in climate action by taking part in our Big Wild Walk!

We ask that you do not attend this event if you, or anyone in your household, are showing symptoms of any contagious illness such as Covid 19 or if you have been contacted by the Test and Trace system and advised to self isolate.
