Wildlings at The Roaches
About the event
We are delighted to welcome you back to our face to face family events. You will notice some changes to the way we do things but we are excited to have you join us for a Wildlings.
Wildlings at The Roaches now runs every other Friday and is free thanks to funding from National Lottery Heritage Fund and is part of the South West Peak Landscape Partnership, under the Wild Child project.
Wildlings is a play group with a twist with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust! Come along and try new things outdoors. You could, get mucky making a mud pie to bug hunting in the woods. We play whatever the weather so please make sure your little ones and yourself are dressed suitably
Please note for the foreseeable future we will not be providing snacks and drinks for children at our events however please feel free to bring your own to enjoy at the session.
Please be aware that we will be practicing social distancing during all of our activities and please ensure you remain socially distant from other households. You will be given the information required to do this in advance of the event and in the event briefing. We have produced a Covid 19 risk assessment for this event and will be adhering to it. You will be provided with your own equipment to use and there will be a hand sanitiser station as well as biodegradable anti-bac wipes for your use. Your household will be allocated a nest, please adhere to the updated government guidance.
We ask that you do not attend this event if you, or anyone in your household, are showing symptoms of Covid 19 or if you have been contacted by the Test and Trace system and advised to self isolate.
This event it is essential that you book in advance and we regret to say that if you arrive to the event and have not booked your place you will be unable to join the event. Please check your spam folder for your booking confirmation email if you have not received one after making the booking.
You must also now book a place for any adults attending the session due to the governments updated guidance on parent and child sessions containing no more than 15 attendees (under 5's excluded).

Additional booking informationThis event is for children aged 6 months - 4 years.
Please note you must select the 'One adult plus one child' option in the first instance - if you only select and book an additional child place without selecting an adult place, your place may be refused on the day. If there are no 'One adult plus one child' place available please get in touch to see if there is space available.
If you wish to bring an additional adult you must select an extra 'One adult plus one child' place and pay the additional £6.50. Additional adults not booked on will be turned away on the day.
If you do not receive a confirmation email following your booking, please get in touch with us on firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure your place has been booked.
