About the event

Join us for this special youth debate on a range of environmental issues.

The Youth Environmental Summit-Staffordshire is the first of its kind, a place for young people to debate environmental issues that are important to them, to meet experts in the environmental field, and give their opinions on how to protect our wonderful nature and wildlife in Staffordshire.

The Summit consists of a debate and workshops, schools can enter up to 8 students, or you can sign up to join in individually. The five debates will focus on waste and recycling, access to nature, climate change, reintroductions and rewildling, and energy and renewables. You will have the chance to join a workshop on one of these themes, meeting professionals who work in that field and discussing the topic in more detail.

This event will be held in the County Buildings in Stafford on 11th April, from 10am-14.30pm. Lunch is provided.

This event is kindly supported by: sben, University of Wolverhampton, Veolia, Michelin, Staffordshire County Council, Staffordshire Chambers, JCB and SCVYS.
