About the event

Join us for a Mini Wildchild Festival with The Fabularium on 24th August who will be performing their new show The Hare and The Moon along with lots of other Wildchild Activities from Forest School bushcraft, sweep netting in the meadow to Wildart.

It will be a fun day out for the entire family. Please note parking is limited and public transport or car sharing is recommended, government guidance allowing.

Want to know more about The Hare and the Moon? Take a look below...

All is not well in the Tundra of Siberia when the Sun has disappeared from the sky! Plunged into darkness, the Arctic Animals band together to find and reclaim the Sun, but maybe the strongest and brutish of creatures are not the ones who are best for the job. Maybe someone with long ears that is faster, smarter, and more agile is required for the task...

Join The Fabularium Astronomers as they tell the tale of how Leapa the Arctic Hare, saved the realm from a villainous beast; a tale of a furry fearless female, who brought the light back to the day and also made the night sky glow!’

The Fabularium are back, with a story all the way from Far East Asia! Expect to see new animal headpieces, new puppets, new original music, and for the first time ever - illuminations!

Your ticket will allow you access to all Wildchild Activities taking part on Park Bank from 10am-3:30pm. The cafe and the visitor centre will also be open throughout the day.
