Staffordshire , DE13 8BY
Come and celebrate National Meadows Day with us!
Supported by the Heritage Fund and Transforming the Trent Valley, come and join us for a walk across the Wychnor Meadows. They are important for their species-rich wet grassland community in the River Trent floodplain. The itinerary will cover the status and importance of floodplain meadows and their context in the Trent Valley landscape, how the site is managed to preserve its plant community, wildflower species that are typical in these meadows and some beginners' wildflower identification.
