Hedgehog Walk

Sign up for our fundraising challenge

The Hedgehog Walk is a fun, family-friendly fundraising challenge in partnership with Aardman, featuring much-loved characters from Timmy Time.

Walk, wheel, crawl or roll 3km – the same distance a hedgehog wanders in a single night – between 30 March and 30 April to help care for Staffordshire's wildlife. Whether you’re toddling through the park with Timmy, marching through the woods with Apricot, or counting laps in the playground with Bumpy, every step with Timmy and friends helps build a better future for wildlife.

Don't forget to use the hashtag #HedgehogWalk on social media to share your adventure!

What difference can little legs make?

The donations children collect will care for Staffordshire's wildlife and wild places, and help others connect with nature.

£27 raised could help a local child engage with nature through play or an educational session.

£50 raised could help care for a local nature reserve for a day.

Violet and Carter's Hedgehog Walk

We were so inspired to join in with the Hedgehog Walk last year after realising that, during our children’s lifetimes, hedgehogs could go extinct. After signing up, we quickly saw just how simple, fun and educational the challenge really is. It helped us truly understand how vital the work of Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is and how much this fundraising can help, which is why we are so excited to be joining in again this year.
