Annual Photography Competition

Celebrating Staffordshire's Wildlife

Entries are now closed for Staffordshire Wildlife Trust's 2023 photography competition.Ā

Each year we host a photography competition to inspire and encourage our county's nature lovers to get out and about with their cameras. 12 winners are selected, and their images are used to produce a charity calendar for the following year, which helps raise vital funds to protect and restore local wildlife.

Thank you to everyone who entered the 2023 competition, we saw some incredible photographs showing such incredible variety! It was tough but we selected 12 winning photographs to feature in our 2024 calendar, which you can see below. Click on the (i) icons to find the image credit and which month of the calendar it features on. Congratulations to all of our winners!

This beautiful charity calendar is available to buy in our online shop here, at The Wolseley Centre and in our charity shops in Penkridge, Codsall and Leek. We think they make the perfect Christmas gift, so why not treat your nature loving friend or family member to one? It's a really unique present, which will also help support our vital conservation work around Staffordshire.

The overall winner, whose image graces the cover of our calendar was selected by our guest judge, UK Wildlife Photographer Kevin Morgans, who also donated a copy of his stunning book Puffins: Life On The Atlantic Edge to our overall winner. You can find out more about him over on his website: www.kevinmorgans.com
