This festive, mini nature challenge is designed to inspire individuals and families to connect to the natural world over the 12 Days of Christmas through a small fun activity each day. The challenge itself takes place in the weird days between Christmas and New Year, from 25December to the 5January. Liam Geary Baulch, Senior Community Activism Officer said: āDuring winter it can often be difficult to feel connected to the natural world but we can help! āSign-up for this challenge and youāll receive an email each day with suggestions of the little things you can do to help nature - like recycling your Christmas tree or feeding the birds. āThere will also be suggestions of fun ways for you to connect with nature, like walking off your Christmas dinner in the woods, or admiring the beauty of a winter sunset.ā 12 Days Wild is a completely free activity, and sign-ups open today (Monday 5 December).
