AIMING HIGH Wild Walk & Draw - Spring is here! at Stapenhill Gardens
Event details
About the event
Join us for a relaxed explore of this beautiful park and the wildlife within.
We'll meet near the carpark and from there, we'll go for a gentle walk, creatively recording our discoveries through sketching, painting and writing. No experience is necessary at all, the session is very relaxed and all art materials are provided. If you have your own sketchbook or favourite pen or brush, please feel free to bring them along.
Alexis will start with a bit of a stretch to wake up our bodies, then we'll pass out paper and clipboards before participants choose what art materials they'd like to use. We provide some prompts, but you can choose your own subjects to draw and doodle, too. There's no pressure to share artwork with others, but children are welcome to do so if they would like.
The staff in attendance has an Outdoor First Aid certificate. There is a small carpark on site, as well as another at the Stapenhill Gardens Play Area off The Dimble. There are toilets available, and accessible loos with a RADAR key.
We will draw and explore whatever the weather so please make sure you and your family are dressed suitably.
