Surveying and researching - get hands on!

Spanning the length and breadth of the county, our Survey and Research Teams are vital to us being able to better monitor our conservationĀ management and the work we do withĀ people.Ā You can find details of allĀ current volunteering opportunities here.

Whilst out Survey Teams focus solely on our reserve management and work with people, staff and volunteers in the Trust's Living Landscapes department work with other landowners to enhance the wider landscape. Find out more how we're turning Staffordshire into a Living LandscapeĀ here.Ā

TTTV Volunteer Wildlife Recorder

The Transforming the Trent Valley (TTTV) landscape partnership is a National Lottery Heritage Fund supported project, with Staffordshire Wildlife Trust as the lead partner, and 18 other partner organisations working together to create ā€œwildlife-rich waterways and wetlands at the heart of a resilient, accessible, beautiful and culturally rich landscape."Ā 

Volunteer Wildlife Recorders are needed to be part of a survey and recording team responsible for increasing the number and quality of our biological records within the TTTV scheme area. Transforming the Trent Valley ā€“ Volunteer History Ranger

If you like history and the great outdoors this could be the volunteer role for you. We care passionately about heritage and are working to check the condition of over a hundred historic places, performing surveys and carrying out works to protect them.
