About the event

Join us on the 12th August and meet fellow Forest School enthusiasts - a chance to network, practice Forest School activities, learn new ideas and share your own with the group. This session will be looking at Swings, Shelters and Slack Lines

Activities to include: 

  • Revision and discussion of general safe practice
  • Types of rope and their purpose
  • Ridgelines and suitable knots
  • Rope swings (selection of branches and creation + specific safety measures)
  • Shelter building tip and tricks
  • Hammocks and their safe use
  • Slack lines their safe use

These days are suitably targeted to people with previous Forest School experience. However, all abilities are welcome.

£50 per person
