Tamworth Wildplay Final Report

 

The Wildplay Project in Tamworth was funded for two years by the Children's Fund through Staffordshire County Council and has now come to an end due to a lack of additional funding. The outdoor sessions for 8 to 14 year olds were aimed at encouraging children and young people to explore their local green spaces and take reasonable risks through play to learn more about their abilities and boundaries.

Attached is the final report to explain our achievements over the first 18 months of the project. The final 6 months saw a continued interest and participation from the children and young people in Tamworth, it is hoped that with future funding Staffordshire Wildlife Trust will be able to return this service to Tamworth.
