Staffordshire Ecological Services
Staffordshire Ecological Services Ltd. (SES) is a member of the Association of Wildlife Trust Consultancies and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. We are a not for profit company and all of our profits go back into the Wildlife Trust to fund conservation projects and wildlife education in Staffordshire.
SES provides client focused solutions to the ecological issues raised by much of today's industry, development and local government activity. Our staff specialise in surveying for Bats, Great Crested Newts, Barn Owl, Badger, Water Vole, Otter, Freshwater White-clawed Crayfish, Breeding Birds, Invertebrates and Reptiles. SES also have considerable experience in Extended Phase 1 and National Vegetation Classification (NVC) survey, habitat creation and the production of habitat management plans.
Having worked extensively throughout the midlands, we have forged excellent links with local planners, councils, government agencies and businesses. Able to draw on a wealth of local knowledge, we are uniquely placed to provide an insight into the ecological issues faced in the region and provide solutions that benefit both biodiversity and the client.
