Nature Tots
Nature Tots is aimed at pre-school children and their parents and uses the outdoors and the natural environment to create fun and stimulating learning experiences. So at a Nature Tots session you might be bug hunting, mud painting, making a mask, making natural collages or playing lots of games. Our leaders have loads of activities up their sleeves - and they'd love you to come up with some ideas of your own. Most importantly - we want you to have fun!
At every Nature Tots session we do some craft activities, explore the outdoors and have story-time. Each week has a different nature related theme so you wont repeat activities if you come every week.
Where can you join in?
To find out where your nearest Nature Tots session is look at the list below. We are not able to run sessions everywhere in Staffordshire yet - but bear with us - we're trying to find funding to offer Nature Tots at a venue near you.
We have Nature Tots running at the following venues during 2011:
Cheadle Children's Centre, Cheadle
Cheddleton Children's Centre, Cheddleton
Stretton Children's Centre, Stretton
Uttoxeter Pentecostal Church, Uttoxeter
Westport Education Centre, Stoke on Trent
The Wolseley Centre, Nr Rugeley
Yoxall Childrens Centre, Yoxall
What do I need to bring?
We always go outside for our sessions and as you never know what the weather is going to do, make sure you come prepared for rain or shine. In the rain bring a waterproof coat (and trousers if you have them) and get your wellies on to come and splash in those puddles! In the sun a hat and suncream are important to stop you getting burnt. Make sure you wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty.
All Nature Tots sessions are drop in so you are free to come and go as you please. Parents must stay with their children
