Grow It, Eat It, Schools

Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is now able to offer Primary Schools a new and innovative programme which focuses on food , healthy eating and growing fruit and vegetables.

During  regular sessions throughout the year, children, and staff, learn about how to grow a variety of fruit and vegetables and how to use their produce to prepare healthy meals and snacks.

The programme can be delivered during the school day or as a lunchtime or after school club.

The wider school community are encouraged to join in the activities and develop new skills.

Grow It, Eat It Schools aims to promote healthy lifestyles and inspire confidence.
