Outreach Environmental Education
As well as our centre based activities we also offer a variety of exciting programmes that we can deliver in your school . The activities have been designed to have strong links with core areas of the National Curriculum and the programmes outlined can be adapted to suit the needs of the group. They provide a fresh, hands on approach and new ideas for using your school grounds!
Sessions can be run at your school or on a nature reserve near to you! All our programmes are aimed at KS2 and KS3 but can be adapted to suit your group.
Costs
Most of the programmes are half day in length, although they can be adapted to fit in with , for example, a school environment day or climate change event. They can also be run twice in one day for different groups.

Inspired by Andy Goldsworthy use nature to create art.
Waste and Recycling
Think about what happens to rubbish when we throw it away and the three R's.
The Kinder Suprise
This programme looks at food miles and where are food has actually come from.
6-12 week Programmes
As well as our shorter half day programme we can come into your school and run a longer 6 or 12 week programmes. These programmes are designed to help you get environmental activities established in your school. During a typical 6 week programme we will introduce ideas and activities to get your group up and running and provide you with a themed activity pack to sustain the group without the involvement of SWT. Cost is dependant on length and numbers of children so please phone us for a quote.
